A rare opportunity to own work from one of David’s most recognisable and sought-after periods. Produced during the height of his exploration into pop art, the Strawberry Series has become a favourite among collectors.
Each print in the Strawberry Series is an original artwork from the 1970s, produced by David during the first decade of his professional practice. As such, many pieces show the natural character of time: gently torn or uneven edges, subtle ageing to the paper, and the unique surface qualities that come only with vintage studio prints. Rather than hiding these features, we recommend framing the work to reveal the full sheet, allowing the deckled and time-worn edges to remain visible, celebrating the authenticity, history, and handmade nature of each print.
Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Estate of David Carlyle Platts.
